The VSOC team attended one of the oldest and famous car races in the world
The ‘Cursa’, created and organized by Vincenzo Florio, took place 103 times; from 1906 to 1977 as a speed race and from 1978 as a rally-racing competition.
Over the years, the scenery of the Madonie Park, a naturalistic, historical and artistic heritage, characterized by rugged mountains overlooking the sea of Sicily, has been a backdrop for this world-famous car race. Nowadays the Targa is a great event to enjoy the island in a relaxed way. Nice scenic routes, good competition, no crowding, great food and good atmosphere are the ingredients.
Alex drove his nicely prepared Triumph TR2 1954 which is a small yet powerful car that easily runs up the mountains of Sicily. We scored 2nd best foreign team, and 1st place was taken by one of our German friends and long-time client! Congratulations to you.
We will definitely be back!
