This year at the grounds of Paleis Soestdijk.
After many concours at the Paleis het Loo a fresh organization took the opportunity to make a new start at the grounds of Paleis Soestdijk.
The location turned out very suitable with lovely cars spread all over the beautiful Royal gardens, and was much appreciated by the many visitors. This new event was worthwhile so place it in your agenda for 2020!
In the big pond in front of the Palace a car was swimming circles! The jury had their meeting in the former meeting room of Prince Bernhard!
Alex and Rogier participated in the Jury at the Concours d’Elegance Paleis Soestdijk. Alex judged both the Octane National and the International Concours. Rogier took part in the Junior Jury at the international Concours. During the weekend we met many friends and we had a great time.
The Mercedes-Benz 540 K Cabriolet A Sindefingen from 1936 deservedly won Best of Show. What a beautiful car.. The Junior Jury was very impressed by the Société Manufacture d’Armes 24/30HP Landaulette Carrozzeria Italiana Cesare Sala of Milan from 1904 and awarded this car. The owner drove the car himself to the Concours and despite the heat he picked up his prize in a period dress, hat off for that!
We already are looking forward for next year’s event at Soestdijk.
