This car was a very original car with an amazing history. Driven at Le Mans in 1966 and still showing it

One of only two cars built! It was not running when sold in 2019 but now it was back.

Have you ever heard of the Serenissima Spyder ?! Body by Fantuzzi and fitted with a racing 3.5 litre V8.

It is quite amazing that the Alfa Romeo Giulia 160

It is quite amazing that the Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 SS and the predecessor the Giulietta 1300 SS, whith this oh so special design by Franco Scaglione for Bertone, where produced in such big numbers. Both models made a total of 2766 pieces.

What is also special is that this design was then manufactured in steel rather than aluminium, not something you would expect seeing the complex curves.
The engines were the 100 bhp derived from the Giulietta Sprint Veloce and the 1600 delivered 112 bhp both combined with the 5 speed gearbox and should bring 200 km/h.

Some of the cars were used for racing or rallying purposes but due to the steel body the car was a little too heavy.
It is a testimony to a time where design and own image was more important than copying what the competitors manufactured.

A stunning 1963 Jaguar E-Type 3.8 FHC, here seen in a rural part of Northern Italy.
For many people the E type is the prettiest car made. We love the leaping cats with their big and powerful 6 cilinder engines.
Let's hope Jaguar will once be building this type of car again...
